Yes, we take most major health insurance plans. And if you don’t have insurance, we will happily discount our initial services for self-payers.

What is a Urologist and what do they do?
A Urologist is a doctor that specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of problems associated with the male and female urinary tract. Some common conditions include: Prostate issues, kidney stones, blood in the urine, incontinence (both female and male), all manner of urinary tract and bladder infections, Erectile Dysfunction (ED), urinary-related cancers, other kidney issues.
Do I need to see my primary doctor first and get a referral
Not always, please call us and we will assist you in scheduling an appointment and answering all question. Some insurance do require authorization from your insurance prior to scheduling an appointment. If this is the case then yes please see your Primary Care Physician to initiate a referral from your insurance company.
I’m a guy in my 50’s and my “stamina” isn’t what it used to be.
Relax. It’s fine. ED is FAR more common than you think. Almost all men in their 40’s or older will experience it to a degree, even if you and your buddies don’t talk about it. Make an appointment – we’re here to help you.

Like the guys above, females have their own “most of us will experience this as we age” condition that embarrasses them. In this case, it’s female incontinence. Relax – we can and will help you. Just make an appointment, and we’ll do the rest.
If I do need to be admitted to the hospital, will Dr. Kwatra, Dr. Shirodkar and Dr. Stocks go to the hospital to care for me?
Yes, we will, assuming it is a local hospital (e.g., Conroe Regional Medical Center, Memorial Hermann the Woodlands, St. Luke’s Community Hospital, Memorial Hermann Cypress, St. Lukes Vintage, Methodist The Woodlands and Methodist Willowbrook). In recent years, some doctors have stopped seeing their patients once they are admitted to the hospital. We don’t do that, we will be your first line of care both in our office, and in the hospital.
Do Dr. Kwatra, Dr. Shirodkar and Dr. Stocks perform their own surgeries?
Yes. All three doctors personally operate on their patients. There are NO training doctors or assistants performing surgery on you or your loved ones.
I went to the ER and they diagnosed me with a kidney stone and my pain is gone – but should I call your office?
Many times the pain you experience with a kidney stone is severe, but gradually improves over the next day or two. This does not always mean the stone has passed. A stone that does not cause any pain can still lead to permanent kidney damage. Please call our office to make sure the stone has passed and also to learn about how to prevent further stones.
