Ajay Kwatra, MD
As personable as he is professional, Dr. Ajay Kwatra is committed to his patient’s urology health, as well as their dignity and well-being. His patients love his respectful, friendly demeanor, and feel 100% confident in his abilities as a Urologist.
An area resident for more than 30 years, Dr. Kwatra carries on a family tradition of providing Texas residents with superior medical care. He follows in the footsteps of his father who is also a physician, now retired and residing in the Dallas area.
After growing up in the Dallas suburb of Hurst, Dr. Kwatra attended Rice University as a National Merit Scholar and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He first worked as an engineer, but decided that medicine – and helping people – was his true calling. That led him to attend medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, with a residency in Urology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He has been practicing in The Woodlands and Conroe areas since 1999.
Dr. Kwatra has two children and resides in Montgomery County. In Dr. Kwatra’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his two children, playing golf, photography and traveling.
Samir Shirodkar, MD
A leader in the field of Urology, as well as a compassionate, cooperative health care professional, Dr. Shirodkar has been treating patients in Montgomery County for more than 2 years. His approach is one of a partnership with his patients, which has won him a loyal area following.
Dr. Shirodkar grew up in Tyler, Texas, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania; He then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, and an internship and Urology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Program in Miami, Florida. During his residency he served as chief resident from 2010 to 2011 and also received the Robert Zeppa Award for both his research and clinical work.
Advanced urological cancer techniques, including laparoscopic (key-hole) and robotic surgery are part of Dr. Shirodkar’s expertise, He is a prolific published writer of urological topics and scientific papers ranging from kidney transplantation to genetic research of urological, prostate, and kidney cancers.
Dr. Shirodkar and his wife Jennifer, a pediatric nurse, reside in Montgomery County with their three children and dogs. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and exercising.

Russell Libby, MD
Dr. Libby looks forward to joining Spring Creek Urology Specialists in early 2024 to serve Tomball and the surrounding areas.
Although he was born in Houston, TX, he grew up as a Georgia boy. He graduated from Vanderbilt University an Honors College Scholar with a major in economics. He then studied the Culinary Arts with a focus on Modern Italian Cuisine at The Culinary Institute of Florence in Italy. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his General SUrgery internship and Urology residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine. He served as Chief Resident in Urology during his training. He has been in private practice serving the North Houston communities for the last 4 years.
Professional Affiliations include the American Urological Association and Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Libby is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
Candice Clark, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Candice completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Baylor University. She worked as a Registered Nurse at various hospitals in the Houston area and spent much of her career working in women’s health.
Following ten years of practice, she continued her education at Prairie View University where she earned a master’s degree in the Science of Nursing. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners organization. She specializes in treating hormonal imbalances in both men and women, erectile dysfunction, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and post-operative care for patients at Spring Creek Urology. Candice is committed to providing her patients efficient and quality care.
In her free time, Candice enjoys spending time with her three children, socializing with friends and family, finding a great restaurant, and traveling.
Maria Navarro, MPAS, PA-C
Maria is a warmhearted and dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Urology. With a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Healthcare Communications from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies with Honors from SJB School of Medicine, Maria has a solid foundation in healthcare. Her background in family medicine, combined with her passion for personalized care, ensures that each patient receives the attention and treatment they deserve.
Maria is certified by the NCCPA and is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients. She takes pride in building trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard and understood throughout their healthcare journey.
Outside of work, Maria finds joy in spending quality time with family and friends. Whether experimenting in the kitchen, eating spicy food, or relaxing with her crochet hook. Her warm demeanor and genuine care extend beyond the clinic walls.
